Learn more about our raw organic chocolate, handcrafted in California for chocolate lovers everywhere
What does the Cacao % refer to?
This is the percentage of cacao (a.k.a. cocoa) in a specific chocolate. A higher cacao content chocolate will inherently have less sugar and a more intense chocolate flavor.
Why do you add Organic Sunflower Lecithin to your Chocolate Hazelnut Spread?
Chocolate Hazelnut Spread contains two different fats, Cacao Butter from the Cacao and Hazelnut Oil from the Hazelnuts. In order to have these fats combine (in an emulsion), an emulsifier is needed. We use an extremely small amount of Organic Sunflower Lecithin. This lecithin is GMO free, cold pressed and is often taken as a nutritional supplement because of its high Phosphatidyl Choline content.
Why is "warm weather shipping" cost more?
In order to have your chocolate arrive safely and in good time, we use USPS Priority, which delivers in 1-3 days anywhere in the US.
We highly advise you to opt for WARM WEATHER SHIPPING if temperatures are 70°f or above where you live. Using insulated boxes and cold packs greatly increases the chances of your chocolate not melting.
With the price of fuel and labor, shipping a box across the country for $16.00 is not really that expensive. Imagine how much it would cost you to personally get a package across this country. $$$$$$$
Do you ship overseas?
Yes we do! Please email // firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our chocolate bars can easily last a year if stored correctly in a cool dry environment (60°- 68° with 50% or less humidity).
Incorrect storage may result in your chocolate blooming (grayish color). This however does not affect taste so need not worry.
